I create books, content and cultural formats for brands, places and personalities with a strong sense of identity and character.

Narrative Brand Development

People rarely remember campaigns. They remember stories, images and emotions.

I help brands, places and personalities develop an emotional and cultural narrative that gives them identity, atmosphere and lasting resonance.
Together, we create formats with storytelling depth — from books, essays and travel journals to editorial content, digital formats, talks and social media storytelling.

I am particularly drawn to brands and projects in the fields of travel, hospitality, gastronomy, culture and lifestyle.

Books & Editorial Formats

Great stories create connection, atmosphere and lasting memories. For many years, I have worked as an author, blogger and storyteller, creating formats that emotionally engage people. Through books, travel stories, podcasts and digital media.

My focus is less on fast-moving content and more on developing formats with character, identity and a distinctive voice.

Together with brands, places and personalities, I create editorial projects that are meant to be read, heard and remembered.

Emotional Storytelling

Many of my stories do not begin at a desk, but out in the world, while travelling, through conversations, in extraordinary places or in moments that leave a lasting impression.

From these experiences, I create stories and formats with emotional depth: honest, atmospheric and deeply human.

It is precisely this connection between lived experience, observation and narrative storytelling that makes stories memorable. For brands, hotels, travel companies and cultural projects, I develop content that resonates emotionally — far beyond traditional content creation.

Talks & Live Experiences

Some stories reveal their full power when told live. I read, speak and perform in front of audiences — on stages, in hotels, libraries and immersive event formats.

Readings become atmospheric evenings, talks turn into genuine encounters. At the heart of it all are emotions, tension and the shared experience of a moment.

Especially today, in a world flooded with digital content, emotional memories are often created where people come together to listen, laugh, reflect and be moved.

Cases

Case: Everest Base Camp Trek, Nepal

Emotional Storytelling & Narrative Travel Journalism for Berghorizonte

For Berghorizonte, a specialist tour operator for Nepal and Bhutan based in Germany, I accompanied a multi-week trekking expedition to Everest Base Camp as both a travel journalist and storyteller.

The aim of the collaboration was not simply to document the journey through the Himalayas, but to capture and convey its unique atmosphere in a way that felt authentic, personal and emotionally engaging. The focus was on the people, landscapes and experiences encountered along the route.

Rather than creating traditional travel marketing content, the project evolved into an honest and immersive narrative about adventure, personal challenges, human encounters and the enduring fascination of the Himalayas.

Case: Hofbräu München

Narrative Brand Development & Emotional Storytelling for One of the World’s Most Iconic Beer Brands

Since 2020, I have been responsible for the social media and content communication of Hofbräu München, with the goal of strengthening the brand’s emotional appeal while translating its rich Munich brewing heritage into a contemporary digital narrative.

The focus has never been on product promotion alone, but on building a distinctive brand world through storytelling — authentic, vibrant, approachable and deeply rooted in Munich’s culture, while maintaining the international appeal for which Hofbräu is known around the world.

Together, we have created content that feels less like advertising and more like an invitation into the Hofbräu experience: from traditional beer halls and festivals to behind-the-scenes insights, memorable encounters and authentic moments that bring the spirit of the brand to life.

Case: Aspen Snowmass

Emotional Storytelling & Editorial Content for Aspen Skiing Company

For Aspen Skiing Company, the operator of Aspen Snowmass and some of North America’s most renowned mountain resorts, I created a series of editorial travel and hospitality features for my blogs Turnagain and Premium Escapes.

The goal was not simply to showcase world-class skiing and luxury hospitality, but to capture the unique atmosphere, lifestyle and emotional appeal of Aspen and Snowmass. Through immersive travel stories, hotel portraits of The Little Nell and Limelight Hotel, as well as an exclusive interview with then General Manager Henning Rahm, the collaboration offered authentic insights into one of the world’s most iconic mountain destinations.

The content was published in both German and English, reaching an increasingly international audience across Europe, the United States and Canada. Beyond the editorial work, the experiences and landscapes of Aspen and Snowmass later became the inspiration and setting for my bestselling thriller Eiskalter Abgrund, demonstrating how travel experiences, storytelling and literature can merge into a lasting narrative world.
